Being Content with Self

Being content with your life means that you're satisfied with what you have and who you are. Instead of comparing yourself to others or wishing you had a different life, you feel you're living a life you can stand behind. Hebrews 13:5-Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. "Being content with your life means that you're satisfied with what you have and who you are. Instead of comparing yourself to others or wishing you had a different life, you feel you're living a life you can stand behind. Contentment only means to be at peace with the present, not complacent. If you are not a peace with what you have achieved at your current point in life, it can be more difficult be motivated to work toward a better future. If you want peace of mind and a positive attitude, contentment is that you should practice. ''It is better to be satisfied with what you have than to be always wanting something else.'', instead of being regretful, you need to be grateful. Instead of complaining, you need to remember that everything is a gift from God. Our trust in Jesus pours contentment into the way we think and the way we experience life. Christmas may be long past, but the One who gave us his son wrapped in strips of clothes that day is the Giver who keeps on giving. He gives the gift of contentment to hisi people day in and day out.
