Faithfulness

Faithful comes from a place of trust and loyalty Hebrews 11:1says, "Now faith is a confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." As a Christian, it is important to be faithful to God, It is one thing to simply believe in him, but another to be faithful to him. Faithfulness gives us a sense of trust, confidence and certainty. Faithfulness gives a relationship the belief that we can count on a person to be true and to be there for us and that others can count on us to be true, faithful and there for them. Faithfulness brings inner peace and contentment: Even in the midst of his trail, Job experience inner peace and contentment. His own faithfulness gave him the assurance of God's goodness and knew that God was in control (Job23:10). In essence, faithfulness is a reflection of our relationship with God. That is, it shows how we strive to honor him in all aspects of our lives, including our thoughts, words, and actions. It is through faithfulness that Christians demonstrate their love for God and desire to walk in his ways. Being faithful also means that there will be some evidence of our faith in God. A faithful Christian will often produce fruit. Galatians 5:22-23 says: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
