God's love and Mercy.

Ephesians 2:4-5 -But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ -by grace you have been saved. The command to love mercy can also be translated "love kindness," and these bible verses show us how it desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.1 John 4: 9-10 emphasizes the God's love is unconditional, and his mercy and love by offering eternal life to all who believe in his son. Mercy is not directed on him who is healthy and robust, happy and cheerful, but on those who are ill, who suffer, who are deprived, who are spiritually or bodily helpless, and who are lonely and oppressed, while love goes both to the one who is in trouble and to the one who is well. Micah 6:8 is a verse commonly cited to compel people to act in time of injustice: "Do justices, love mercy and walk humbly with God." Mercy fuels compassion, providing promising glints of light in a darkened world. It's kindness, forward forgiveness, and empathy. Mercy chooses not to be offended, and compassionately sees a hurting heart behind hurtful words. God's mercy is reflected in the cross of Christ, a direct reflection of his love for us. The bible also defines mercy beyond forgiveness and withholding punishment. God shows his mercy for those who are suffering through healing, comfort, the alleviation of suffering and caring about those in distress. He acts from compassion and acts with mercy.
