Living For God -Genesis Chapter 25:1-34

We must seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to apply the Word to our lives. Living for God means giving up ourselves and desiring God's will above all else. As we draw nearer to God and come to know him more, His desires will more naturally become ours. Roman 14:8 "For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's" The Good News: Devoting yourself to God in life is the way to live an honest and happy life. Secondly, the main purpose of life is ultimately to glorify God (Isa.43:6-7). We were created for God. He is worthy of all glory and honor, and we were created to exalt, magnify, and worship him. He desires you to have a joyful, ambitious, purposeful life. Ask God for purpose and expect him to give it to you. Your attitudes, words, and actions must mirror Christ's. The Bible instructs us to (work) out or live our salvation, which means we will live a life surrender to God and bring him glory regardless of any cost.

 The world creates temptation by presenting alluring but potentially harmful desires and situations, often exploiting our natural inclinations and vulnerabilities, and by emphasizing fleeting pleasure over lasting values. 1 Corinthians 10:13, " No Temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is Faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." Social Pressure and Peer Influence Social Pressure and Peer Influence, the influence individual feel from the social circle or society circle or society to act, think, or behave in a certain way, often leading to conformity or adherence to group norms. Negative impact social pressure can lead to negative consequences, such as anxiety, low self esteem and unhealthy behavior. Exodus Chapter 7:1-25 The First Plague: Water Turned to Blood  Lord answer Moses, "See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother will be your prophet. The first plague is the changing of Egypt 's water into blood. When Pharaoh goes out to the river in the morning, Moses and Aaron must confront him on the bank of the Nile. They must make it clear to him that due to his refusal to let the people go, the water of the Nile will be changed into blood. The bible says that Aaron turned the Nile to blood by striking it with his staff. Pharaoh's magicians used their secret at to also strike the Nile, creating a second layer of blood.
